cheng fei interview.

translation:
After injuring herself in 2009, star athlete CF hasn't been in the public eye for quite some time. Just before the Nationals in Kunshan tomorrow, CF participated in an internal test and performed quite well. As for tomorrow's competition, CF has expressed that she's been anticipating it and that she's been waiting for quite a while (to compete).
Perhaps it's because CF hasn't been in front of a camera for some time, her first reaction was to hide her face behind a cushion when she realised that the camera's focus was on her. (Female interviewer says that CF's cute in the background)
But she quickly returned to the original amiable girl she is.
Interviewer: CF, can you introduce to us the Chinese mitten crab/big sluice crab that's downstairs? -laughs-
CF: We're living just next to the lake [I don't know the name cos I can't catch it as she said it], but we're here at the wrong season! So even if we go out on the lake, there're only babies; none of them big sluice crabs.
For too long a time, the only thing CF could do was to slowly lose weight and regain her training.
CF: I'll just have to try my best, it's just the starting. As I haven't competed for a while, I have to slowly rediscover many things and there'll be a lot of unknown obstacles in the future; we'll just have to take things slowly and tackle it one by one.
In: So are you looking forward to the competition?
CF: Yes, quite. I've been waiting for quite a while!
For prelims, CF will be performing on VT and FX.
In: Do you think you've had difficulties recovering your skills/training?
CF: Erm... It's quite okay, actually. It's just that at first, I didn't think that I'd be able to recover quickly enough to compete or my goals weren't set that high, etc. But we've [I assume that means her coaches and her] been trying our best to slowly achieve whatever plans we've made for ourselves, and it's been okay so far.
